Faith is believing in the unseen. The bible teaches us that everything is possible if we have faith. There isn’t a single word in the bible that comes down and doesn’t fulfil its promise as our LORD’s purpose, thus I can today give you my testimony that it is true as the bible states.

The Bible contains several instances of faith being demonstrated through the prophets and even Jesus’ teachings. To enable each of us to receive all the blessings contained in GOD’s word, faith is what is required of every person.

The Old Testament prophets had a strong faith in God. Let’s look at a summary of a few of them.

Abraham was a man after the heart of God; he had such a strong faith in God that he was willing to offer his son Isaac as a sacrifice. His level of faith in God permitted him to be recognised as righteous.

Look at Daniel. He prayed three times daily and firmly believed that God would help him in all circumstances, including being put in the lion’s den. The amazing and inspiring faith in Daniel is the something I can’t comprehend.

Another group of people that respected GOD is Shadrack, Meshack, and Abednego. They had no fear of the burning furnace because of their faith in GOD.

Disciples had faith in JESUS when He called them to follow Him. Every day they listened to our JESUS teachings, which strengthened their faith.

The Bible is excellent for nourishing our faith; if you read it every day, you’ll believe in it and benefit from its promise of faith.

Here are 27 Bible verses you can read each day to encourage you and help your faith grow:
