4 Ways to Receive an Answer to Your Prayers
When we pray, our greatest wish is for God to respond to our prayers. Have you ever wondered why you aren’t getting a response? How often do you read God’s word and meditate on it? We must act in line with GOD’s will for our prayers to be answered. Read HIS word more regularly, repeatedly, and with forgiveness, practising what it teaches us, and constantly meditating on it. We must be doers of the word rather than just hearers.
All my prayers are always answered by God. That is something I can testify to. Because I practice and do all the following, I have witnessed God’s hand. HE keeps HIS word and does what HE says.
“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks,” the Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. Always consider the following when you bow down to pray:
- Pray in accordance with the Bible
We must pray with His word if we want our Heavenly Father to respond to our requests. As a result, read and study the Bible with a pure heart before you begin praying. Read the bible verses that correspond to your current situation. Here are some Bible scriptures to read and pray with if you’re praying for your own healing or for someone else’s.
Jeremiah 17:14
‘’Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise.”
Psalm 30:2
“LORD my God, I called to you for help, and you healed me.”
Jeremiah 30:17
‘’But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,’ declares the LORD…”
James 5:14-15
“Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.”
Psalm 41:4
“As for me, I said, “O Lord, be gracious to me; heal me, for I have sinned against you!”
Be a Cheerful Giver
When you give cheerfully without being pushed, when you bow down to pray, our Heavenly Father hears your petitions. In the same way that you remember others, our LORD GOD remembers you. Here are some biblical verses to read and pray with to get your request granted.
Luke 6:38
Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.”
Proverbs 19:17
Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed.
Proverbs 22:9
Whoever has a bountiful eye will be blessed, for he shares his bread with the poor.
James 2:14-17
What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
Romans 15:1
We who are strong have an obligation to bear with the failings of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
Deuteronomy 15:11
For there will never cease to be poor in the land. Therefore, I command you, ‘You shall open wide your hand to your brother, to the needy and to the poor, in your land.’
Have a Forgiving Heart
No matter how big the mistake or problem is, GOD’s children who worship our Redeemer in truth and Spirit always forgive others. Our Almighty God forgives us when we sin, and the bible teaches us about forgiveness. As a result, we should forgive as much as our LORD forgives us. So that when we come to pray in HIS presence, HE will hear us and help us. As HE reminds us in HIS word, HIS love for us stays unchanged, HIS covenant of peace remains unbroken, and HE is merciful to us.
Ephesians 4:32
Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
Matthew 18:21-22
Then Peter came up and said to him, “Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you seven times, but seventy times seven.
Luke 17:3-4
Pay attention to yourselves! If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him, and if he sins against you seven times in the day, and turns to you seven times, saying, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive him.”
1 Peter 3:9
Do not repay evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary, bless, for to this you were called, that you may obtain a blessing.
1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
Matthew 6:14-15
For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Being Thankful to GOD
You must always thank our LORD for what HE has done for you and what you are expecting from HIM whenever you begin to pray. Our JESUS was the first to love us. Prioritize being thankful to our LORD, and we may rest assured that our JESUS will respond. He has great plans for us to prosper and have hope in the future. Before you pray, always praise and worship.
1 Thessalonians 5:18
Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
Ephesians 5:20
Giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Colossians 3:15-17
And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
2 Corinthians 9:15
Thanks be to God for his inexpressible gift!
Psalm 106:1
